Mussels and oysters are to be farmed in the Tuapse District of Kuban. The farm will be created in the Bay of Inal. The head of the municipality Vladimir Lybanevu spoke about the project in a traditional telephone conference, the press service of the regional administration reports.
An area of the Black Sea is already fenced off for future plantations. This area is 130 hectares. The farm is to produce about 70 tons of shellfish a year.
