Palestine is grateful for the assistance of Russian Federation

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki said that the country is grateful to Russia for its assistance in many areas.

According to him, Russia is a very close friend of the Palestinian people. "We thank it for all the efforts to help us in many directions," RIA Novosti quoted Riyad al-Maliki as saying.

He also noted that currently there is a "big political stalemate" in the Middle East.
