Pashinyan appoints Martirosyan head of National Security Council

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chose the acting heads of the National Security Service and the Armenian Police. He announced them on the eve of the government meeting.

According to the politician, the NSC will be temporarily headed by its deputy director Eduard Martirosyan, and the first deputy chief of the police, Arman Sarkisyan will head the department.

”Formally, we simply expect the signing of the relevant decrees by the president. At the moment, we congratulate our colleagues and wish them good luck in their work," Novosti-Armenia quotes Pashinyan as saying.
