Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has expressed his condolences to the Primate of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, the people and leadership of Georgia over the recent flooding, which caused death and destruction.
"With a heavy heart I found out the news of the flooding in Georgia, which resulted in loss of life. I am grieving with those who lost their beloved ones, who suffered and remained homeless,’’ the message of the Patriarch reads.
