Russian Ministry of Labor announced that from April 1, social pensions will be re-indexed by 8.6%. This increase will affect 4 million people.
"The indexation of social pensions in 2022 will be 8.6%. The corresponding government decree is published on Saturday", the government decree says.
The ministry also reminded that the social pensions' indexation is carried out annually on April 1, taking into account the growth rate of the pensioner's subsistence level over the past year.
