About 500-600 people have gathered at Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan. Dozens of people were guarding the barricades made of garbage containers today, RIA Novosti reports.
A resident of Yerevan said that people were tired of low living standards, constantly growing prices for electricity, food and transportation.
Stepan Safaryan, a member of the Yerevan municipal authority, a former member of parliament, said that the heat of the protests was waning, and people had heard the president's promise. He does not rule out a new eruption of protests.
