In conditions of poor visibility, a passenger plane flying from Dubai by flight FZ981 crashed in Rostov-on-Don. The crash occurred at 3:42 MSK during the night in conditions of poor visibility 50-100 meters to the left of the runway. 62 people were on board the Boeing 737-800, according to the information of the FlyDubai airline: 55 passengers, including 33 women, 18 men and four children, and seven crew members. They all died.

The Emergency Situations Ministry published a list of those who died in the crash, it is also posted on the website of the government of Rostov region. The majority of passengers are citizens of Russia. Three citizens of Ukraine, a citizen of Uzbekistan and one citizen of India may also be among the victims. Of the seven crew members, there were six foreigners on board.

Condolences to the families and relatives of the victims were also expressed by Russia's President Vladimir Putin, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated.

The Governor of the Rostov region also expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims. Mourning in the Rostov region was announced for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
