'Pobeda' suspends flights to Gyumri due to insufficient fueling - source

Russia's Pobeda low-cost carrier will suspend flights to Armenia’s Gyumri from the winter season, according to the airline’s source.

The decision to suspend flights was due to repeated cases of insufficient fueling at the Gyumri airport.

According to the source, 'Pobeda' repeatedly appealed to the airport management with a demand to solve the fuel issue, but in vain.

Until the end of the summer season, 'Pobeda' will carry out all planned flights to Gyumri to not let its customers down, but from the winter season, ticket sales on this route have been suspended, News.am reported.

At the moment, Pobeda operates 10 flights a week from Moscow to Gyumri (from there transfer to the Armenian capital of Yerevan is offered). The airline planned seven flights a week in the winter season. The airline launched flights to Gyumri in December 2016.
