Ten people have been arrested in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri during protests against the electricity price hike.
Their detention was explained by the fact that the demonstrators had parked their cars in the wrong place and blocked traffic, the Epress.am agency reports.
A sit-in demonstration was held on Theatre Square in Gyumri. Young people blocked Sayat-Nova Street. Water cannon were also used there, as in Yerevan.
