According to the Georgia Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the year, the special subdivision of the department, engaged in providing security to the visitors of the ski resorts of the republic - the so-called policemen skiing to patrol - managed to save 11 tourists who were missing for some reason during vacation in the Georgian mountains.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Facebook, adding that during the same period the policemen skiing to patrol also rendered various assistance to 143 tourists and returned 49 items to the owners.
