During Sunday's address to believers, Pope Francis expressed hope for a speedy and final resolution of the crisis in Ukraine.
"May the Lord help the efforts aimed at trying to find a final solution to the conflict in Ukraine," he said during his speech on the occasion of Catholic Easter.
"All these people, who are our brothers and sisters, meet death or rejection from those who could welcome and help them on their way," Interfax quotes him as saying.
