Elections in Donbass may be cancelled. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko made a statement at a meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions that the DPR and the LPR are to cancel elections in the republics.
According to the Ukrainian leader, he has information according to which the ‘‘militants’’ will announce the cancellation of the elections that are scheduled for October 18th and November 1st.
In addition, Poroshenko said that the Donbass should be allowed to participate in regional elections officially.
