Stavropol needs to increase the production of fruits in two times, the area of vineyards - in three times, the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, Vladimir Sitnikov, said today.
"In order to achieve a balance in processing, we need to increase the area of vineyards in three times - up to 20 thousand hectares, and the area of gardens up to 50 thousand hectares," Interfax-South quotes Sitnikov as saying.
