During a rally on Friday, representatives of the civil platform DT (Demnitate si adevar - Dignity and Truth) managed to overcome a police cordon and reached the residence of the head of Moldova Nicolae Timofti.
The main protesters’ requirement is the resignation of the Moldovan authorities. The picketers held flags of the EU, Romania and Moldova. The rally was attended by about 200 people.
Activists of DT, which has organized a protest in the center of Chisinau for more than two weeks, will today begin to picket state institutions: parliament, government ministries and the presidential administration, RIA Novosti reports.
