National Wine Day in Moldova, which is usually held on the central square of Chisinau, will not take place this year because local wine companies believe that the protest actions may scare away guests, the head of the National Vine and Wine Bureau Dmitry Munteanu said.
"This decision was influenced by many factors: the fact that the square of Chisinau is occupied by protesters, and the fact that the protests will scare off tourists, and there are far fewer tourists than usual," TASS quoted him as saying.
