The authorities of Salah al-Din, the province in the northern Iraq, said that the last city, captured by the Daesh militants (the terrorist organization banned in Russia), has been released, the local media reports.
According to their information, the last stronghold of the terrorists in the province was Zauiya town to the south of Al-Shirqat (released on Thursday), a strategically important city on the outskirts of the Daesh ‘capital’ Mosul.
