Putin: EJC is Russia's ally in the struggle against anti-Semitism

Today Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with representatives of the European Jewish Congress (EJC) that the organization is Russia's ally in the struggle against anti-Semitism.

"We consider your organization, as one of the most representative non-governmental organizations in Europe, to be a natural ally of Russia in the struggle against xenophobia, anti-Semitism and various forms of extreme views. Certainly, both our direct allies support preservation of the memory of World War II and the consequences of such a human catastrophe as the Holocaust,'' RIA Novosti reports.
