Infrastructure monopolies should be more modest, but this should be done without compromising quality, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated at a meeting with the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Igor Artemyev.
The head of the department reported about the completion of the tariff campaign of 2012-2016, and asked that this policy be supported so that infrastructure monopolies understood that times have changed and they have to change too.
"It is necessary for them to know, to be ready, as you rightly said, to behave more modestly – of course, not at the expense of quality. If we want to suppress inflation, we should work in this way," the Prime Minister quoted Putin's response.
