Nagorno-Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan in terms of international law, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during his annual press conference.
"From an international legal point of view, I also talked about this, all these territories are an integral part of Azerbaijan. Nagorno-Karabakh is also Azerbaijan from the point of view of international law," Putin noted.
He said it is possible to increase the number of peacekeepers in the Nagorno-Karabakh region only upon the agreement with all parties. "We initially discussed the number of our peacekeepers. Their number has been agreed. This is a technical issue. If the conclusion is made to increase their number, we will do it, if not, then we will not do this," the Russian president noted.
