Today the Kremlin press service has made an official statement about a telephone conference between Russian President Vladimir Putin, his French counterpart Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The conference was devoted to the continuation of contacts within the ‘Normandy format’ of talks on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
"They discussed the main aspects of the future work of the ‘Normandy format’, including negotiations of the Foreign Ministers, as well preparations for a new meeting at the highest level,’’ the website of the Kremlin reports.
At the same time, Vladimir Putin expressed his concern about continued attacks on civilians of Donbass and their homes by the army of Ukraine.
