Russian military specialists will participate in the demining of Palmyra, this was announced after a telephone conversation between the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, and UNESCO Director General, Irina Bokova, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
It is known that the Russian leader congratulated Bokova on the liberation of Palmyra.
In turn, Irina Bokova thanked Vladimir Putin for assistance in liberating Palmyra and expressed UNESCO's willingness for joint work, TASS reported.
