Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed interaction within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in a phone call with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
"The parties discussed pressing issues on the bilateral agenda and the prospects for further expanding trade and economic cooperation. They also touched upon interaction within the Collective Security Treaty Organization," the statement reads.
The Kremlin press service pointed out that the two leaders reaffirmed "their determination to make every effort to strengthen Russia-Kazakhstan relations of alliance and strategic partnership."
The presidents agreed to maintain contact and continue coordination between the two countries’ governments.
