Putin asked to choose between drowning Poroshenko and Erdogan

Russian President Vladimir Putin was asked by a 12-year-old girl Varya during his annual question and answer session whether he would save Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko or Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan if they were drowning.

Vladimir Putin has admitted that the question put him in a difficult position.

"My answer is: if someone wants to drown, you can't save them. But, of course, we are ready to lend a helping hand to any of our partners if they want that themselves," the president said.
