Contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and a delegation of six Arab countries expected to visit Moscow next week are not planned, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.
"No, it's only through the foreign ministries," he said when asked whether Putin's contacts with the delegation were planned.
Peskov also said that meetings with the delegation are also not planned through the presidential presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
Earlier on Friday, Arab League Secretary-General Husam Zaki told TASS that the League of Arab States is ready to facilitate a political settlement between Russia and Ukraine and to this end is sending to Moscow a delegation of foreign ministers from six Arab countries, headed by Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abu al-Gheit. The Arab League delegation will include the foreign ministers of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates. According to the secretary general, talks will begin April 4 in Moscow.
