Putin orders registration of individual entrepreneurship to be replaced with patents

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to make legislative changes, which would allow self-employed citizens to get a license as an individual entrepreneur in "one window" mode.

According to the business ombudsman Boris Titov, instead of paying taxes, self-employed citizens will now be able to purchase a patent for conducting business activity, which should not cost more than 20 thousand rubles.

In addition, it is intended to make changes to penal sanctions against small and medium-sized businesses. It is planned to introduce warnings, and not an administrative punishment for the initial detection of violations with the simultaneous issuance of the order to eliminate these violations, RIA Novosti reports.
