Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that it is senselessness to tie the conciliation of sanctions against Russia with the situation in Ukraine and expressed confidence in the inevitability of the normalization of relations with the EU.
"We take this calmly and we are confident that normalization of relations between Russia and the EU will happen sooner or later," RIA Novosti cites President Putin's statement at a press conference with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.
