Putin promises to visit Museum of Aivazovsky in Feodosia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited the Moscow festival "Books of Russia" at Red Square and visited the stands of the regional publishing houses.

Organizers of the Crimean booth told him that the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications has helped them to release the earlier suspended Almanac 'The Crimean Album'. The publishers gave one of the copies to the president.

On the counter Putin noticed an album of paintings by the prominent marine painter Ivan Aivazovsky. The Crimeans told him that the collection of Aivazovsky’s pictures in the Feodosia Museum is the most significant in the number, and recalled that recently the mayor had invited Putin to visit.

"Thank you very much, I will try to come. I'll have to come and see the museum's collection,’’ the head of state promised.
