Moscow is highly satisfied with the level of development of its cooperation with Ankara, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at talks with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
"As for our bilateral contacts, we are highly satisfied with the way our interstate relations develop. Regular contacts continue at the highest level, both in the parliamentary and governmental directions," TASS cited him as saying.
Putin said that, despite a decline in economic ties with Turkey for certain objective reasons, Russia remained its second-biggest trading and economic partner. "Our trade and economic ties keep diversifying, which is gratifying," he stressed. In addition, investment is growing, amounting to $10 billion on each side.
