Russia is unlikely to eliminate corruption soon, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Council.
"People face corruption on the spot, the so-called everyday corruption. In general, we have a lot of work here. The issue is not in achieving any great victories in this area today or tomorrow, this task is difficult and maybe a hard-hitting one, but if we stop, it will be worse, so we need to only move forward," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
