Putin stays on the island

Russian President Vladimir Putin spends his holiday on the island of Valaam, where one of his residences is located.

"The head of the state arrived to Valaam, where he will visit the monastery and meet with Patriarch Kirill. The latter also has come to the island",  the publication FlashNord reports, citing a source in the Government of Karelia.

According to the media reports, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has already left for island.
