Europe is interested in the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principle of the territorial integrity of states, the President of Latvia Raymond Vejonis said, addressing the 5th Global Baku Forum, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
"The Karabakh problem must be solved. We are interested in a peaceful and diplomatic resolution. Latvia has always supported Azerbaijan in various formats, recalling how important it is to solve the issue," Raimonds Vejonis underlined.
"Undoubtedly, the territorial integrity of the states must be preserved - it is a very important international principle which must be observed everywhere," the President of Latvia stressed.
