A ceremony of reinterment of the remains of Red Army soldier Mukhamed Kazbekov from the Babaurtovsky district of Dagestan, who died in the Leningrad region in the summer of 1943, will be held at the military cemetery of Makhachkala on December 11.
The event will be attended by head of the republic Vladimir Vasiliev and the relatives of Kazbekov.
The remains of the fighter were discovered by the Ropsha detachment of the public search association St. George in the Kirov district of the Leningrad region near the lake Barskoe in March 2016.
