Remains of Red Army soldiers who fought during World War II found in Chechnya

Search detachments involved in the Memory Watch action, have discovered the remains of Red Army soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Excavations began in the area of Grozny, where bloody battles took place in 1942. During the first two days of work they found the remains of nine Red Army soldiers. The trophy aerial photography by German intelligence helps the participants of the action to find their bearings on the ground, NTV reports.
