Renault intends to increase the production line in Iran. In addition to the current Logan and Sandero models they will launch the production of Renault Kwid.
"The representatives of Renault would travel to Iran in near future to sign an agreement to launch a joint venture with Pars Khodro, a main subsidiaries of SAIPA, to boost its markets in Iran," Fars reports.
Before sanctions against Iran in 2011 Renault occupied 10% of the Iranian market.
