Republican Party of Armenia: no decision on meeting between Aliyev and Sargsyan

The Armenian parliament did not confirm a meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents, Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan in the United States.

"The Armenian President will pay a visit to Washington. However, we are not aware of any decision about meeting. There is no such a decision and there has not even been such a discussion," the press secretary of the Republican Party, Edward Sharmazanov, said.

Earlier, the Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper wrote, citing diplomatic sources, that the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement is making efforts to organize a meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents, Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan.
