The authorities of Simferopol have allowed weddings to be celebrated when power generators are available, the head of the city administration, Gennady Baharev, reports.
"If a wedding is celebrated with a generator, then please celebrate, just do not bother people," the FlashCrimea news agency quotes him as saying.
Permits for weddings in the city are issued individually. According to Bakharev, the authorities have designated a schedule to avoid unnecessary power consumption.
