According to Sergey Zheleznyak, this year, the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, was a year of great challenges for Russia both in foreign policy and in terms of internal development. "Now we can already say with confidence that, despite the complexity of the challenges, our country successfully coped with them. Russia became the leader in the global counteraction against terrorism and successfully helps robust, responsible forces in the world who understand the danger of terrorism, to stop this evil in the Middle East," he noted.
Sergey Zheleznyak pointed out that next year will also be difficult for the country. "It will be a year associated with a large campaign before the elections to the State Duma of the next convocation, a large number of regional meetings, the heads of regions and municipalities. It is important for us to preserve national unity and support the actions of the country's leadership, which has helped to successfully overcome the crises and challenges of this year. Of course, it is necessary to maintain mutual understanding and support in the next year, essentially while fighting against those plagues and obstacles that are hindering Russia," the politician urged.
