According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Emergency Measures of North Ossetia, movement along the Transcaucasian highway, which connects Russia with South Ossetia, has been stopped due to a rockfall.
"The movement of Transcaucasian highway was stopped in both directions due to a rockfall on Saturday from 5pm until a special order,’’ RIA Novosti cites the interlocutor.
In early August road traffic was also stopped due to a landslide.
