In the Saratov region, on the border with Kazakhstan, preventive measures were strengthened due to the situation with coronavirus. The department of Rospotrebnadzor specified that the Ozinki checkpoint is undergoing sanitary-quarantine monitoring using non-contact thermometry, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the latest data, more than 140 thousand people in 129 countries are already infected with the coronavirus, most of those infected have recovered, but more than 5.3 thousand have died.
