Rosselkhoznadzor has banned the import of poultry meat from Russia's provinces of Stavropol and Krasnodar.
According to the press service of the regulator, the ban has been imposed to avoid the penetration of Newcastle Illness (fowl pest) into Armenia, Sputnik Armenia reported.
The ban applies to imports of all types of live poultry, all types of poultry products, feathers and down, commodity and hatching eggs, meat and bone meal, feed, feed additives for pigs (except for additives containing synthetic and chemical substances) as well as polymer and cardboard boxes and cardboard gaskets for packaging.
