The terrorist organization Islamic State will use an Islamophobic script, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, addressing a meeting of the Cultural Revolution High Council.
"The IS terrorists are creating a wave of Islamophobia in the world and trying to claim that they represent Islam. And this is while the noble religion of Islam is against terrorist acts," TASS cited him as saying.
The President noted that global will and unity are needed to confront these crimes.
"Iran, as a country that itself is victim of terrorism, condemns terrorist acts and massacres of innocent people and it will seriously confront these terrorist acts," he said.
