Iran will sign 'road maps' for bilateral cooperation in the medium and long terms with Italy and France, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said.
"Our relations with such countries as Italy and France have always been sincere and friendly. And we want to continue our good relations with them," IRINN cited him as saying.
The talks in Rome and Paris will also cover insurance of exports and export guarantees, investment, cooperation between financial institutions and introduction of modern technologies, Rouhani said.
According to him, in France he plans to sign agreements which will contribute to the modernization of the aviation fleet and locomotives. Agreements with Peugeot and Renault are expected to be signed in the French capital, TASS reports.
Rouhani will hold talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, he is also expected to meet with Pope Francis. In Paris, the Iranian president will hold talks with his French counterpart Francois Hollande.
