Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will discuss bilateral military and economic cooperation with the leadership of Pakistan in Islamabad. It should be noted that it's Rouhani's first visit to Pakistan as the President of Iran, IRNA reports.
They will sign several agreements, including the 'road map' of strategic business partnerships, on trade, energy, cultural and scientific exchange, medicine and media.
One of the topics of the talks will be the completion of construction of Pakistan's section of the Iran - Pakistan pipeline.
The sides will also discuss the development of trade and investment, as well as creation of new and renewal of the old border terminals to expand cross-border trade.
In addition, they plan to sign an agreement on military cooperation, the Fars news agency reports.
"The visit will be a great opportunity for us to review the whole range of bilateral relations and further strengthen our brotherly ties," TASS cited the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as saying.
