Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will run for a second presidential term during the elections next year, Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said.
The minister added that the candidates would officially launch their election campaigns on April 27-May 16, 2017. Rouhani has been in office since 2013, Fars News Agency reports.
The next Iranian presidential elections are expected to be held on May 19.
