The authorities of Turkmenistan plan to build a roadway from Turkmenbashi to Kazakhstan through the Garabogazgol Bay, which will connect the country with Kazakhstan, the governmental newspaper Neitrailny Turkmenistan reports.
The 225 km long road will pass through the bay, where a 350-meter-long bridge will be built. The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow already discussed with the members of the government the stages of its construction, RIA Novosti reports.
The construction of the route will help to solve the problem of communication between the two countries and will increase the trade turnover, as well as the volume of freight traffic , Deputy Prime Minister for the construction complex of Turkmenistan Dadebay Amangeldiev said.
