According to the Investigative Committee for Ingushetia, an Ingush court sentenced former head of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic, Ruslan Tsechoev to five years in prison for misuse of 2 bln rubles.
In December 2014, he sent unspent 2 bln rubles of federal budget funds to pay off the budget deficit in Ingushetia, although the money should be returned. Trying to hide this, the former minister returned to the federal budget all the money received for January-March 2015.
