Russian Interior Ministry and Chinese Public Ministry signed a Protocol on Law Enforcement Cooperation for 2017-2018.

According to the Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the practice of signing two-year cooperation protocols is a significant aspect of bilateral interaction.

"The 2017-2018 protocol on cooperation between the Russian Interior Ministry and the Chinese Public Security Ministry will be an important addition to the inter-agency legislative framework," Kilokoltsev noted.

The Russian interior minister is currently on a visit to China. He has already visited the Chinese Public Security Ministry’s center for counter-narcotics propaganda. He is also scheduled to pay a visit to the tourist police office in the city of Sanya (the Hainan Province).
