Russia maintains its leadership in volume of money transfers to Georgia

Russia still maintains its leading position in terms of the volume of electronic money transfers to Georgia, the National Bank of the country reported today.

According to the National Bank of Georgia, in December 2015 the total amount of such transfers from Russia amounted to $40.5 million, or 39.8% of all transfers received from abroad. Second place goes to Italy, from where, in the same period, 10.9 million dollars were received (10.7%), the US is in third place with 10.1 million dollars (10%) and Greece is in fourth place with 9.7 million dollars (9.5%), TASS reports.
