Russia’s S-400 air defense systems are operating in Syria faultlessly, leading to an increased interest from Middle Eastern countries, the head of Rosoboronexport’s Air Force Special Equipment and Service Export Department, Sergei Kornev, said.
According to him, the arms market of the Middle East is extremely important for Russia. "The countries of the region traditionally equip their armies with the most modern types of weapons and military equipment. It is no secret that they are paying great attention to the Russian air defense means, including the S-400 systems, which are operating impeccably in neighboring Syria," Sputnik cited Kornev as saying.
According to the recent report from the Russian Air Defense Forces General Staff, the country's strategic nuclear forces are currently capable of inflicting unacceptable damage upon any aggressor, including those possessing anti-missile weapons.
