Russia has already produced about 6.5 mln two-component doses of Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine, the country’s Health Minister Mikhail Murashko announced during the session in the Federation Council, TASS reports.
"About 6.5 mln two-component vaccine doses have been produced on a cumulative total," the health minister stated.
According to the data, six sites are engaged in production. In January, 2.1 mln vaccine doses are ready to be sent to the regions.
In February, Russia’s regions are expected to receive over 5 mln doses of COVID-19 vaccine. "Some 5.17 mln vaccine doses are going to be delivered to the regions in February," the official said. Regarding the statistics, almost 2,200 Russia’s medical organizations are taking part in mass vaccination against coronavirus.
